System Status

We are constantly monitoring the status of all our services and their related components. If there is ever an interruption in service, a notification will be posted to this page. If you are experiencing problems not listed on this page, you can contact the IT service desk for more information.

Current OTS Service Status

OTS Scheduled Maintenance

OTS client maintenance window is scheduled every week on Sunday from 12:00am - 6:00am. Additionally, OTS Plans two server maintenance periods a month. You can find upcoming server maintenance periods in the table below.

Current UITS IT Notices

The Alertus Desktop service was unavailable from Monday, February 5 at 6:00pm to Tuesday, February 6 at 7:00am due to a system upgrade. During this time, messages were not received from the emergency notification service. For more information see: [About Alertus desktop alerts](https://kb.iu.edu/d/bfra).
Beginning Sunday, March 11, 2018, UITS will begin upgrading Umail, the student email system to the Google at IU environment. If you haven't yet logged into [Google at IU](https://uits.iu.edu/google) and agreed to Google's Terms of Service, you must do so before March 11, 2018. You'll be prompted to agree immediately after login. **Your mail cannot be moved if you haven't completed this action.** For more information see: [About the Umail upgrade](https://kb.iu.edu/d/apqg).
The IU Global Casper service will be unavailable on Friday, February 23 from 5:00pm to 11:59pm due to scheduled system maintenance. During this time, the management console will be unavailable to site administrators, and the Self Service application will be unavailable to end user devices.
Micros Simphony will undergo system maintenance on Wednesday, March 14, from 1:30pm to 5:00pm. During this time, users may be unable to make some purchases with CrimsonCards.
The HRMS (Human Resource Management System) environment will be unavailable on Saturday, February 24, from 7:00am to 11:00am due to a scheduled upgrade. Services affected include but are not limited to HRMS, HRMS eDocs, HRMS Self-Service, and ePTO (Electronic Paid Time Off).
The SIS (Student Information System) environment will be unavailable on Saturday, February 24, from 7:00am to 11:00am due to a scheduled upgrade. Services affected include but are not limited to: SIS eDocs, SIS Administration, SIS Student and Faculty Self-Services and others.
